useless symbols

my name is pink soup and ive come to talk to you about useless sybols such as the above. when was the last time you used one of these?for exaple, the ~ sign.this is probablly the most useless and un used symbol of them all. This is because it is located in a place on your keyboard where not many fingers dare to venture.Even if it is next to the number 1.to be honest,im not really even sure what its pourpose is.worthless rating...9/10
The ` sign
this is equally unimportant and useless as the before stated symbol.it is on the same key as befor but easier to get to now since you dont have to hold the shift key while pressing the it.
i cant stress how stupid it was to even make such a button.and agian i have absoulutely no idea what the heck this dose.which further explains how pointless it is.

The # sign
this sign is a step up from the last ridiculas sybol.it has a slight bit more importance than the other however its still worthless in my eyes.(sorry if that offends anyone who widely uses this symbol.)yet i do know what this one means.

this one is about the same as the symbol above, and agian i do know what it is.

what the freak is this?does anyone know? even though its positioned in the middle of the number line ive never noticed it there befor.it just may serve some deep purpose,but i have yet to find out what that is.lets observe closer. hmmmmm.it seems to be pointing upwords.does this mean that you use this when you are refering to something above?odd.

the * sign
once agian we come across a symbol i have acnowledged, but beyond that im confused as to what purpose a little star might possiblly have on a keyboard.i dont think closer observation can bring us anymore knowledge on this exept that on the keyboard, it appears to have 5 points stiking out.however on this blog it has 6.thats some information that you will never ever need to know.....

the = sign
this is a sign that i think about anyone past age 5 understands.but when your typing,you never need to use it. come to think of it, aside from school it has no pourpose.

i'm with mama! really funny & entertaining! i actually use the ~ sign from time to time, although it got a fairly high worthless rating. i might use it like this:

Logan, if you chat online, these symbols become very useful. Like if I want to express something that is not done with spoken words, I write something like *sighs because everyone is an idiot*. Those asterisks are very useful. Also, the ^ sign makes eyebrows. ^_^ The = sign is useful for things such as "Logan = weirdo." Finally, any random symbol can be utilized to swear - "%#&*@?~$#!"

If your ^ symbol is what I think it is, then it doesn't appear right away when you type it, right? Only after you press another key? Well, if you follow it with certain letter, it'll put an accent on them, behold: â,ê,î,ô,û
This is useful if you type in another language, such as French. Which I can tell you don't, but for many people, it is quite important.
Also, as itself, ^ is used when typing equations, it serves for exponentiation (typing 3^2 is the same as typing 3²)
Now, a symbol I have not the remotest idea what is does, is ¤ !
I guess, you can make text sparkles with it or something...
